What, Why, Where Cloud!
Connecting the Dots in the Digital Sky ;-)

Introduction.
Hello there! Welcome to my blog on cloud computing. I'm excited to share my knowledge and experience with you. As a computing engineering student with certifications in AZ-900 and PL-900, I have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of cloud computing.
In this blog, We'll be discussing why cloud computing is essential, what it is, and how it works. Whether you're a student looking to expand your knowledge or an industry professional seeking to keep up with the latest trends, this blog is for you. So let's dive into the world of cloud computing together and explore what makes it such a crucial part of our modern digital world.
As Promised, let's start with the story of why the cloud is important.
Are you ready, guys? I am sure you are! 😉
Once upon a time, tech professionals used physical servers to deploy applications. However, these servers had a limitation that only one application could run on each server. This meant that if you needed to run multiple applications, you had to buy a new server which was not pocket friendly.
But then came virtualization comes into the picture. In layman's language, virtualization is a technology that allows us to create compartments (virtual machines) on a server, thereby deploying various multiple applications. However, virtual machines come with a con: for every virtual machine we create, we need to install an operating system, configure it, network it and load balancing which could be a very tedious job.
Here, my friend, cloud comes to the rescue. Cloud provides us with an underlying architecture, so we don't need to buy a server and configure it. We get the house template, and we just need to customize it according to our needs.
What is Cloud Computing?
Cloud computing is a way of building computer systems that allow multiple users to share resources like computing power, storage, and memory. This sharing is made possible by combining physical servers and using technology to gather resources. This makes cloud computing a more cost-effective solution than traditional methods. With cloud computing, you only use what you need and free it up for others to use when you are done.
Now, You may ask WHERE IS THIS CLOUD????
Let me walk you by Cloud!
Yes, Datacenter is where the cloud lives. It refers to a network of servers, data centers, and infrastructure that are distributed across various locations globally. These servers and data centers are managed by cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The data and applications hosted in the cloud can be accessed and utilized from anywhere with an internet connection.
Conclusion
In conclusion, cloud computing has revolutionized technology usage by offering scalable resources, cost-effectiveness, and easy accessibility from anywhere. Businesses have thrived, and individuals have become more efficient with these benefits. Thank you for reading this blog, and I hope it has provided valuable insights into the power of cloud computing.
